Bumba

Armstrongs were delighted to help obtain a charitable grant, to support the Bumba Foundation in its mission to create lasting change in Uganda. The funding helped support the charity’s ongoing work, which focuses on providing educational opportunities, vocational training and sustainable community development projects in some of the country’s most disadvantaged regions. Through a combination of schools, skills centres and community-led initiatives, the Foundation helps young people and families build brighter futures while promoting long-term self-sufficiency and resilience.

The Bodie Hodges Foundation

“The funding received through the support from Armstrongs will help The Bodie Hodges Foundation continue to provide free support to families in the early days following the death of their child or sibling. The specialist support we provide following the death of a child helps families to develop resilience skills, facilitate conversations around death and learn ways to cope with their grief. Hinckley Round Table

Stewart has been involved in Hinckley Round Table since 2019, taking on the role of Charman in 2023. The charity works to raise funds through various means but is most recognised for its Santa Sleigh, which visits the community in Hinckley and its surrounding areas each December. All funds raised are distributed to those in need and other good causes in the Hinckley area.

Menphys

Menphys is a local charity with offices based in Leicestershire that provides a range of specialist services to support children and young adults with additional needs and disabilities, and their families. The charity has been supporting families across Leicester and Leicestershire for 50 years, striving to give young people equal choices, equal opportunities to allow them to live ordinary lives. We are working with Menphys regularly throughout the year and are a member of their sports networking club.

LAMP

Armstrongs is proud to support LAMP (Leicestershire Action for Mental Health Project) through its business networking lunches and speaker events, helping to raise awareness of the vital work the charity undertakes across Leicestershire. LAMP provides independent mental health advocacy, information and support to individuals and families navigating mental health challenges, ensuring people have access to the guidance and representation they need. By regularly supporting and promoting these events, we help increase the charity’s visibility within the local business community, encouraging engagement, fundraising and greater awareness of mental health services available across the region.
